7-Eleven, one of the largest convenience store chains in the country and the world, introduces its first store with a drive-thru in the Philippines.

On Saturday, October 16, 7-Eleven announced that its first drive-thru store in the Philippines could be found inside Gateway Park Gate 4 in Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Olongapo City.

With the convenience store chain’s new service in the Philippines, customers can buy products sold in a typical 7-Eleven store and other 7-Eleven favorites like City Cafe, Gulp, BigBite, or Crunch Time.

In March this year, 7-Eleven first opened a store with a drive-thru in Dallas, Texas in the U.S. for the chain’s foodservice brand Laredo Taco Co.

In the Philippines, before opening its first drive-thru store, 7-Eleven has provided Filipinos with innovative ideas, allowing them to stand out in the convenience store industry. These efforts include the installation of ATMs in a number of its stores to help promote financial inclusion in the country, the opening of its first-ever Heineken-themed store in Tomas Morato, Quezon City, and the addition of Century Pacific Food’s meat-free products to its stores nationwide.

As of today, there are over 3,000 7-Eleven stores in the country.
