On-demand logistics solutions provider BRAD, a subsidiary of Globe Telecom’s Asticom Group of Companies, announces plans to offer its services nationwide this year to support the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

After mainly providing services in the National Capital Region (NCR) in the first three months of 2022, the new logistics player now aims to extend its presence to the rest of Luzon in the second quarter and penetrate the Visayas and Mindanao market by the second half of the year to support the growth of more local businesses.

“Seeing the limited options for an on-demand logistics solution in the provinces, we are confident that BRAD will become a trusted partner of local businesses," said Mharicar Castillo-Reyes, President and CEO of Asticom Group of Companies, a shared services provider under the Ayala conglomerate. "Through delivering amazing customer experience and innovative logistics solutions, we look forward to supporting SMEs in their development and creating more opportunities for Filipinos."

“We’re focusing our efforts on expanding the channels we have right now to serve the SMEs, especially homegrown businesses and communities, given the limited options for on-demand logistics solutions in the provinces,” BRAD general manager Richie Santos stated according to Business Inquirer.

The company said it offers services for various businesses, including health and wellness, food and beverage, e-commerce and telecommunications, with the intent to connect enterprises to consumers by delivering essential items such as medicine, groceries, personal care items, appliances, gadgets, household care, and home essentials.

Currently, with over 30 merchants in its portfolio and more than 150 riders, BRAD expects its numbers to grow amid its expansion plans.

The new logistics player was launched in December last year to take advantage of the growing opportunities for delivery services in the country due to the mobility restrictions triggered by the pandemic.
